An intuitive kiosk design that anyone can use with ease
Barrier-Free Kiosk Design
This kiosk aims to address the challenges faced not only by individuals with visual, auditory, and physical disabilities but also by digitally marginalized groups
such as the elderly and children. These issues have been further exacerbated by rising labor costs and the rapid expansion of contactless services
due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The barrier-free kiosk embodies the true meaning of 'digital inclusion' through various accessibility features.
By analyzing the accessibility and usability of existing kiosks for digitally marginalized groups and individuals with disabilities, we have applied a layout and diagonal sculptural concept that maximize user convenience.
Additionally, the use of a white & black CMF creates a smart and modern image, resulting in a well-designed information kiosk.
The barrier-free information kiosk design won the Gold Prize at the 2024 iT AWARD.

Tilited Interface for Wheelchair Users
Designed with consideration for wheelchair users, the interface design proposes an optimal angle of 45 degrees, taking into account the typical height of a wheelchair (approximately 950mm).

Leg Structure for Wheelchair Users
The kiosk leg design is considerate of wheelchair users, featuring an open, backward-tilted leg structure that allows users to move comfortably while avoiding collisions with wheelchairs.
Intelligent Camera for All Users
The centrally positioned camera at the top of the monitor is designed to recognize users with physical, visual, and hearing impairments.
It adjusts the screen UI according to their position, and provides voice guidance and sign lauguage assistance services, ensuring that anyone can use kiosk comfortably without inconvenience.
